Out here in the Northwest, our winter started fast and furious. Snow piled up at my favorite place to ski, and the best that Washington has to offer: Crystal Mountain. In fact, the entire Western United States seems to be enjoying above average snowfall. I see that Lake Tahoe is currently getting pounded with feet of snow. Lucky bastards!

The best snow on Earth is falling hard and often as well. Alta, UT is off to a great start it seems, as I've found quite a few good ski videos on YouTube from this season. Sage and Smithers are putting up good helmet cam vids from early season that made me want to head straight for the Peruvian Lodge. I tell ya, there's nothing liking being out of breath for an entire weekend while trying to chase Alta locals around their mountain.. maybe I am better off at home, come to think of it ;)
